Powder Metallurgy Compacting-2

1,000 ton Compacting Press

At BLUE Powder Metallurgy, we utilize powder metallurgy forming presses ranging from 25 to 1,000 tons.

This press capacity supports small, medium, and large structural PM parts for different industrial applications.

We can manufacture powder metal parts with diameters from 5 to 300 mm (0.20 to 11.81 in) and lengths from 5 to 150 mm (0.20 to 5.91 in).

Final production feasibility depends on part geometry, material selection, density level, and tolerance requirements.

Conveyor Sintering Furnace

Our sintering equipment includes pusher-type conveyor sintering furnaces designed for high-throughput powder metallurgy production.

Each continuous sintering cycle can process up to 3 tons of powder metal parts, supporting stable output for medium and high-volume orders.

These furnaces are mainly used for iron-based powder metallurgy components, including gears, rotors, pulleys, flanges, and other structural PM parts.

BLUE Vacuum Sintering Furnace

Vacuum Sintering Furnace

Our vacuum sintering furnace can operate at temperatures above 2000°C and is used for high-temperature sintering of stainless steel, ceramic parts, and other advanced powder metallurgy materials.

The controlled vacuum atmosphere helps reduce oxidation, surface contamination, and unwanted reactions during sintering.

With stable temperature control and uniform heat distribution, the furnace supports higher part density, improved mechanical strength, and better dimensional stability.

Fully Automated Sizing Press

BLUE uses fully automatic sizing presses to calibrate sintered metal parts with high efficiency and stable repeatability.

The automated process reduces manual handling and improves labor efficiency.

After sizing, sintered parts can achieve IT6–IT7 dimensional accuracy, while critical surfaces can reach tighter tolerance requirements.

Finished parts can be placed directly into blister trays after sizing, supporting cleaner handling and faster packaging.

Steam Treatment Furnace

Steam Treatment Furnace

BLUE is equipped with in-house steam treatment furnaces for ferrous powder metallurgy parts that need reduced open porosity and better surface performance after sintering. This gives you a reliable and low-cost secondary process for iron-based PM components.

Steam treatment helps improve corrosion resistance, surface hardness, wear resistance, sealing performance, and oil retention. It is widely used for functional sintered parts that need better performance without adding high processing cost.

Steam-treated parts have a consistent black appearance, improved surface quality, and better functional performance for iron-based powder metallurgy applications.

Hardening Furnace

For PM parts that work under friction, impact, or repeated load, BLUE provides in-house heat treatment using dedicated furnace equipment.

This process strengthens key working areas such as gear teeth, contact faces, locking surfaces, and load-bearing sections.

It is mainly applied to sintered gears, sprockets, clutch parts, lock parts, pawls, and other structural components that require higher hardness, better wear resistance, and longer service life.

Vibratory Finishing

Vibratory Finishing Machine

Our vibratory finishing machines are used to remove burrs, round sharp edges, and improve the surface condition of sintered powder metal parts after sintering.

With stable batch processing capability, this equipment helps deliver cleaner surfaces and more consistent part appearance before coating, assembly, or final packing.

It is suitable for PM parts that need better edge quality, smoother surfaces, and reduced manual finishing work.

Sandblasting Machine

BLUE uses sandblasting machines to clean powder metallurgy parts after sintering or machining. The abrasive blasting process removes surface oxides, residual debris, and light burrs from the part surface, helping improve surface uniformity and overall appearance.

After sandblasting, parts show a cleaner and more consistent surface condition. This process is often used before coating, secondary finishing, assembly, or final packing, especially for PM parts that require a better surface finish and cleaner presentation.
